This release note gives you an overview of the functional content of the WL Sips 23R1 release.

It is separated in two parts:

• new additions in the WL Sips Solution, where are listed the modifications of new functionalities added to our offer
• regulatory changes

New features of the WL Sips Solution

Addition of Oney Paylater payment method

The Oney Paylater payment method is now available on Sips Paypage. This payment method allows you to be paid immediately while offering your customers the possibility to be debited only 30 days after the purchase.

Choice of the automatic and manual responses format

In order to give the result of a payment, WL Sips sends manual and automatic responses to each payment for the Sips Paypage, Walletpage and InApp connectors.

Until now, these responses were always in POST format. As of interfaceVersion 3.0, you can now choose to receive the response in JSON format.

Enrichment of responseCode 97 : expired session enrichment

On interfaceVersion 3.0, in the expired session (responseCode 97), two new fields are presents in the automatic/manual response :

1. abortedProcessingStep : precise which step of the transaction life cycle is produced the expiration sessions (example : challenge, authorization step etc).

2. abortedProcessingLocation : precise who is at the origin of the expiration session. Indeed, following the payment method, it could be SIPS WL or another actors (example : ACS during authentication redirection or a tiers partner link to private payment).

BIN8 restitution

Recently, VISA and MASTERCARD cards have their BIN on 8 digits.

A new value "PAN_MASK_DOT_8_2" has been created in the merchant options in order to make the BIN8 available in the SIPS responses.

Masked PAN - available options :

• PAN_MASK_SHARP_4_2 : first 4 digits + #### #### ## + last 2 digits
• PAN_MASK_DOT_6_4 : first 6 digits + . + 4 last digits
• PAN_MASK_SHARP_0_4 : #### #### #### + last 4 digits
• [NOUVEAU] PAN_MASK_DOT_8_2 : first 8 digits + . + 2 last digits

This option is available only if 6.4 option already existed. It conditions the return of the first 8 digits to merchants, for VISA / MASTARCARD or co-branded Visa or Mastercard cards. Other SCHEMES are not concerned. Also, card have to be in 16 digits.

Until now, in database (BDD) the storage of masked PANs was in 6_4. Then, depending on the merchant option or the fixed value set, the refund was possible for all values: 4_2/ 6_4 or 0_4.

A modification has been provided to store in 8_2 the cases concerned by the evolution.

The table below summarizes the uses of masked PAN, the conditions of the merchant option, as well as the storage in BDD.

1.1.5 Google Pay™ added to WL Sips

Sips now offers Google Pay™ for Visa, Visa Electron and Mastercard. Google Pay™ is a payment method proposed by the company Google to make payments in a simple and secure way on mobile applications or on the Internet.

The cardholder must have a Google account and can then :

• use a card already registered in their Google Wallet
• add a new card to their Google Wallet and use it
• use a card already registered in their Google Account

With this solution, customers can pay for their online purchases without having to enter their card details each time. In addition, the wallet application allows them to view their transactions.

CACF 3/4xCB: Evolution of the format of the « productCategory » field

The « productCategory » field (contained in the « shoppingCartItem » container) present at the input of the Sips interfaces is used to describe the category of each items present in the customer's shopping cart. The length of the « productCategory » field is changed to 100 characters.
