New features of the Worldline Sips Solution

Implementation of scheme tokens lifecycle management in “on behalf” mode applied to the merchant token mode

The “on behalf” mode means that Worldline Sips manages on behalf of its merchants the enrollment and management of the tokenization scheme with the TSPs* of the CB, Mastercard, Visa schemes. It is now possible to manage the lifecycle of scheme tokens generated on transactions initiated with a merchant token, using the methods of the new Sips Office Scheme Token service:

  • getCardMetadata : Allows you to retrieve information about the scheme token and the card attached to it. The data retrieved can be:
    • the status of the scheme token
    • the expiration dates of the card and the scheme token
    • the card suffix
    • the Payment Account Reference (reference of the account associated with the card)
  • update : Allows you to suspend, reactivate or delete a scheme token

This new service requires using the new interfaceVersion ST_WS_2.0. Similarly, you can now integrate the “scheme token update notification” to be notified of updates made by TSPs and merchants on scheme tokens.

This notification, with a format similar to that of the Paypage automatic response, allows you to be informed of changes made to scheme tokens, such as status updates or modifications to the card data associated with the token.

Receiving this notification requires providing a URL to the Scheme Token option registration.

*TSP = Token Service Provider

CVCO: Reduction of the minimum transaction amount

The CVCO payment method (by Thunes) lowers the minimum transaction amount. Previously, a transaction had to be at least €20, but this amount has dropped to €0.01.

Retry of soft decline

In the context of a soft decline, the acquirer sends an A1 code in the event of authorization refusal following an unauthenticated transaction.

In this case, the soft decline retry allows for reauthentication if the card is eligible for 3DSV2. Worldline Sips retries strong authentication (challengeMode3DS value=”CHALLENGE_MANDATE” value 04 or 3DS Requestor Challenge Indicator = 04). This retry is triggered by an acquirerResponseCode = A1. This feature is automatically deployed across all offers.
