This release note gives you an overview of the functional content of the WL Sips 23R2release.

It is separated in two parts:

new additions in the WL Sips Solution, where are listed the modifications of new functionalities added to our offer
regulatory changes

New features of the WL Sips Solution

New AdviceCode data in BXAP 2.2.13

The Visa and Mastercard networks are likely to financially penalize acquirers who allow authorisation requests on refused transactions to be replayed in an untimely manner, regardless of the type of refusal (pending their eventual acceptance).

As a result, acquirers provide information to merchants in their responses to refused authorisation requests, for consideration, specifying the conditions under which a replay is possible.

Worldline Sips provides you with this information in the following data:

reattemptMode : condition for an attempt following a refused authorisation; can take the values NEVER (never try again), LATER (try again later) or UPDATE (update the information before trying again);

reattemptMax : maximum number of attempts to apply for authorisation during the permitted replay period;

reattemptStartDateTime : start date of the replay period when a new attempt to request authorisation for a rejected transaction is allowed;

reattemptEndDateTime : date of the end of the replay period when a new attempt to request authorisation of a rejected transaction is allowed.

The availability of this replay data is only available to merchants with a Worldline Blue - Belgium contract.

Add Google Pay TM on Sips Paypage

Worldline Sips now offers the Google Pay TM payment method with the Sips Paypage connector. You can find all information about the implementation in our online documentation.

Information Banner MEX

In order to broadcast maintenance information, WL Sips proposes an information banner to be put on the connection page of our Merchant Extranet. The display mechanism of this banner is configurable and in a temporary way (display time, text, type, etc.).

The text is displayed in the automatically detected language. English is set as default for all languages other than Dutch, German, Spanish, Czech, Slovak and French.

Regulatory changes

Accessibility compliance on Sips Paypage

Worldline Sips is in the process of complying with the Référentiel Général d'Amélioration de l'Accessibilité (RGAA). In this context, our objective is to make the Paypages understandable and usable by Internet users with disabilities.

A link to the accessibility statement is added at the bottom of the payment pages

You will find the limits of liability of Worldline Sips as well as the rules and good practices to apply. If you customize your payment pages via the CustomPages tool, make sure that all your pages are easily accessible to all Internet users.
